Downside is, it adds a bit of complexity (there are more weapon upgrade choices for most squads). Purgation of Kurava is also interesting, it doesn't have a ton of additional units, but it does change the gameplay mechanics quite a bit it attempts to make the game a bit closer to tabletop, in that you have armor values and armor penetration values, things like that (such as, a bolter can't harm a Baneblade because a standard Bolter only has AP 2 or 3 while a Baneblade has Heavy Armor 5). Unfortunatly everything that's not Chaos or Imperium is practically untouched. I'm searching for mods that allow me to play at 1920 resolution, have updated graphics, sounds, and possibly fixes/tweaks for Dawn of War 1. I agree that UA and Codex are both quality mods. Best Dawn of War 1 mods (vanilla and for each expansion) - NOT Ultimate Apocalypse Hi.
